Join Annie Browne, owner of established virtual assistant business Hello My PA and co-founder of Freelance Heroes, in a workshop where Annie will talk about why communities are an integral part of growing your freelance business. She will showcase some examples of genuine support and help you to discover the best communities to support you in the growth of your freelance career.

Dean Powell runs his own PR consultancy and is also an author, broadcaster, raconteur, compere and MC, historian and accomplished singer. He is also leading the transformation of the Guildhall in Llantrisant and is looking forward to its grand opening as a tourist attraction in Summer 2019.

Dean will share his story of how he has gone from a highly successful career in journalism to a busy and fulfilling self-employed life where he embraces all of his talents and passions – a true ‘portfolio career’.

Dean is also a Big Ideas Wales role model, regularly presenting to audiences across Wales to inspire the next generation of entrepreneurs.
