  • altspace Coworking Office 31 Stamford Street Altrincham, England, WA14 1ES United Kingdom (map)

This event, hosted by Katy Carlisle, who runs The Wheel Exists, and Joana Ferreira, who runs JVF Marketing, is for any freelancer who would love to have a stunning new business website and a comprehensive marketing plan. If “sort out new website and marketing” has been on your task list for a while, then this event is the place where you will gain those valuable skills.

Katy and Joana have teamed up to deliver this two-day event that is incredibly useful for business owners. You don’t just learn how to build your website, you’ll also learn what to do with it to keep your business healthy.

Over the course of two days, you’ll learn how to create a new website for your business using a tool called Squarespace, and how to put together an effective and efficient marketing plan that’ll drive traffic, interest and sales.

The Website

Katy will guide you through the steps of creating your website, from learning to launch. Her hands-on approach means you’ll be able to master the technical aspects of creating, updating and refreshing your website using Squarespace, a tool that’s built for non-techies!

The Marketing

Having a great looking website is fantastic, but you need to know how to attract people to it through social media, SEO, email and other digital marketing channels. Joana will share some digital marketing tips and techniques around how to drive relevant traffic to your website, how to engage with your audience online, how to make your website more visible on Google, and more importantly, how to attract customers online!
